Free cats offered at Winnipeg Humane Society

Fraught with felines, the Winnipeg Humane Society is giving away cats.

With over 150 cats currently available and the agency clawing for more space, adoption fees are being waived all day long on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The sale applies to cats four months and older. 

Adoption fees include:

• Health exam by shelter veterinarian.
• First vaccines.
• Ownership handbook.
• Spay/neuter
• Ear tattoo
• Six weeks' Petsecure health insurance.
• Iams food coupon.

Microchips are available at the time of adoption for an extra $30 fee.

The Winnipeg Humane Society is located at 45 Hurst Way, just off Waverley Street.
