Freezing drizzle, fog advisories in effect for southern Manitoba
The mixed bag of weather continues Friday as Environment Canada issues a freezing drizzle advisory for Winnipeg and the eastern half of southern Manitoba, including up to the Interlake, while a fog advisory is in place for the western half of southern Manitoba.
The pattern also includes occasional flurries, especially Saturday evening into Sunday and light snow on Monday.
Temperatures will be far above normal with highs around –6 C and that mild air should stick around right up until Christmas Day, when seasonal values of –12 C return.
For the weekend, there will be sun and cloud and temperatures around –5 C Saturday and –4 C Sunday.
