Woman airlifted to hospital in critical condition after collision near Selkirk
Collision caused significant injuries, police say
A woman in her 70s was airlifted to hospital Monday after a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 9, northwest of Selkirk.
RCMP say they responded to the collision at around 1:55 p.m. Monday, near the intersection of Highway 9 and Meadowdale Road.
A black pick-up truck and beige sedan were at the scene on the crash.
A spokesperson for the STARS air ambulance service said they were dispatched to a two vehicle collision, and that there were multiple occupants in each vehicle. The woman in her 70s was taken to the Health Sciences Centre in critical condition.
Officers were still on scene as of 3:30 p.m.
