Car flips on side during rush-hour commute

Emergency crews were called after a car flipped on its side at the intersection of Waverley Street and Chevrier Boulevard.

Winnipeg fire paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. One vehicle had flipped on its side, while another vehicle remained on the street beside it.

No one needed to be taken to hospital, according to the City of Winnipeg.

No information about what led to the crash has been released.
