Brandon will get two new soccer pitches if the NDP is re-elected, leader Greg Selinger said on Tuesday.
Selinger and the party's candidates in Brandon made the announcement at the Assiniboine Community College's North Hill campus.

The NDP made the commitment because the city's existing pitches are too often at risk of flooding, Selinger said.
"They needed higher, drier, more modern soccer fields," Selinger told reporters.
Manitobans head to the polls on April 19.
