Man dies after early morning assault, Winnipeg's 6th homicide of 2019
A man rushed to hospital in critical condition after an assault on Friday morning has died.

A man rushed to hospital in critical condition after an assault on Friday morning has died.
Police were called to a house at 225 Selkirk Ave., just west of Main Street in the city's North End, around 4:45 a.m.
Officers found an injured man, who was quickly sent to hospital but died.
It is the city's sixth homicide of the year.
The house was surrounded by police tape Friday morning with blood on the front steps.
Police would not release the man's age or any information about how he died or if anyone has been arrested.
