Two men have been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 41-year-old man on the Sagkeeng First Nation.
RCMP say the body of Eugene Robert Fontaine was found Monday morning in a shed behind a home on the First Nation.
Fontaine had died after a fight broke out at a party, Sgt. Line Karpish told CBC News.
"We've been able to establish that there was a social gathering that took place at a residence on Sagkeeng First Nation, an argument ensured, and a man has died," Karpish said Tuesday.
The Sagkeeng First Nation is located about 125 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg.
