London Police are investigating a sexual assault that allegedly took place in a parking lot on Tuesday.

A woman told police she attempted to flag down a taxi on Richmond Street near Western Road shortly after 2 a.m.

Police say the woman then entered a black 4-door sedan, believing it was an unmarked taxi-cab.

Officers say the driver became upset at the woman because she was unable to pay for the ride and transported her to the area of Dundas and Maitland Streets, where he sexually assaulted her.

Police are still searching for the suspect who is a male in his 30's.

He is described as having brown eyes, a small beard on his chin, balding top with hair on the sides, medium skin, between 6'0 - 6"3, 200 lbs, wearing a white shirt and jeans.

The suspect's car is described as a black 4-door sedan.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
