Ontario Provincial Police have identified three teenagers killed Monday morning in a crash near Listowel, Ontario.

Dennis Linthorst, 17, of Howick Township was the driver of the vehicle that left the road and hit a tree on Brussels Line between Cardiff Road and Browntown Road in the Municipality of Huron East, according to a new release from the OPP.

Two male passengers, Ivan Kuepfer, 19, of South Bruce, and Owen Bakker, 14, of Brockton were also pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

A fourth occupant in the vehicle remains in hospital. His name has not been released.

Police said the teens all worked together, but officers would not say where.

"That information is not part of the investigation," said PC Barry Cookson from the Huron County Detachment.

The OPP's technical collision investigators continue to probe the cause of the crash.
