Victim identified in Oneida homicide investigation
A London man was found dead when police responded to property on Clara Road
The victim of an alleged shooting in Oneida Nation of the Thames has been identified as a 36-year-old London man, according to Middlesex County OPP.
Officers with Oneida Police Service and provincial police responded to a property on Clara Road around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
OPP say Isaac Doxtator was found dead from a gunshot wound on the property.
Harlo Cornelius, a 43-year-old from Oneida Nation of the Thames, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the case.
Police said he remains in custody and is awaiting a court date.
The investigation is ongoing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
