A young man is dead and two other people are seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash west of London on Friday, according to the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service.

Emergency services responded to multiple 911 calls about a crash at Glendon Drive and Amiens Road, north of Delaware, shortly before 5 p.m.

Police say all three people in one vehicle were taken to hospital by ambulance. At the request of the family, police say they won't be identifying an 18-year-old man from Middlesex Centre who later died in hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle had minor injuries and wasn't taken to hospital, police said.

No charges have been laid, but police continue to investigate.
