More Pride flags stolen in Southwestern Ontario

Provincial police in Oxford County are seeking assistance from the public in hopes of identifying a suspect who torn down a Pride flag in Burgessville, just north of Norwich, Ont.

Provincial police in Oxford County are seeking assistance from the public in hopes of identifying a suspect who tore down a Pride flag in Burgessville, just north of Norwich, Ont.

Police have released video of the incident from a security camera overlooking a residential laneway that captured the footage on Monday. 

A hooded individual can be seen running into the laneway and pulling down the flag and an attached flagpole. He then runs off with them.

It's the latest incident involving a stolen Pride flag.

Earlier this week, CBC News reported that a Pride flag had been ripped from a front porch-railing in southeast London on June 19.

And Provincial police are investigating the theft of a Pride flag and Pride signs earlier week from two separate addresses in Dunnville, southeast of Cayuga.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call police.
