Currently in London it's 18 C and mainly clear. 

Environment Canada has a special weather statement for today. 

The first heat event of the season will affect Southwestern Ontario. 

Maximum daytime temperatures could reach the low 30's.

These conditions could pose a risk to those who are not used to the heat. 

Today's forecast calls for a sunny morning that makes way for a mix of sun and cloud. 

There is a 30 percent chance of showers or a thunderstorm late this afternoon. 

Today's high of 30 C will feel more like 35 C with the humidex. 

The UV index today is 9 or very high. 


  • Beginning today at 7 a.m. north and southbound Richmond Street are reduced to a single lane in each direction from Dufferin Avenue and Kent Street for utility work. 
  • Starting at 9 a.m. today you'll notice lane restrictions and delays on Oxford Street West at Wonderland Road North for utility work. 
  • Expect lane restrictions and delays starting at 8 a.m. today on Hyde Park Road at  Sunningdale Road West for utility work. 


Gas is selling in London between $1.22 and $1.28 per litre.
