Four crashes involving commercial vehicles close Highway 402 westbound: OPP

Four separate crashes involving commercial vehicles have closed Highway 402 west of London Wednesday morning, according provincial police.

The highway is closed at Glendon Drive, and will remain closed while vehicles and debris are cleaned up, they said.

Police said no injuries have been reported, and the eastbound lanes of Highway 402 remain open.

There have also been minor crashes reported on Highway 401, said police, but it remains open in both directions.

Londoners woke up to snow accumulation Wednesday morning, and Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for the region ahead of strong winds and blowing snow, mainly expected in the afternoon.
