After six weeks, OPP identify person found dead in Exeter
The victim's body was found in a wooded area Oct. 21
Ontario Provincial Police have identified the deceased person found in a wooded area of Exeter six weeks ago. Police said Quintin Smith, 23, had been reported missing by his family a month earlier.
Smith, of South Huron, had been the subject of a missing person investigation that started Sept. 23, according to the OPP.
His body was found on Oct. 21 underneath an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) near a steep embankment adjacent to the railroad tracks.
The investigation has determined Smith died as a result of injuries sustained in a rollover crash.
In a written statement, Huron County OPP thanked the public for their help with the investigation.
