A driver and his two passengers were arrested on-site Saturday night after police said they stopped a vehicle ripping down Dundas Street at 186 km/hr.

Officers said a loaded handgun and a quantity of Methamphetamines were also found in the vehicle.

OPP have charged the 27-year-old driver with impaired operation of a vehicle, alleging he was under the influence of both alcohol and drugs. He's also facing charges in relation to the gun, drug possession and racing.

The two passengers, a 20-year-old man and minor, are also charged. They're accused of possessing a firearm and illegal substances.

The OPP said the three individuals put the community at serious risk by mixing speed, alcohol, drugs and a loaded handgun.

They were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in a London court in August. The vehicle has been impounded.
