Cause of fire in London's SoHo neighbourhood under investigation
Fire crews were called to Maitland Street at around 9 p.m. Tuesday
The cause of a fire in London's SoHo neighbourhood is under investigation.
Crews were called to the 200 block of Maitland Ave., between Horton and Simcoe streets, at around 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
They encountered heavy smoke and fire when they arrived.
Firefighters had to go into the building to fight the fire and additional crews had to be called to help.
One person was assessed for smoke inhalation.
Investigators will now try to determine the cause, origin and circumstances surrounding the fire.
