According to an employee at the Shoppers, this isn't the first time a car has driven into the franchise. In January, another vehicle hit the front of the store but in that case, did not break through the walls.
There's also been a series of recent crashes in London where vehicles have slammed into buildings, in some cases causing significant damage.
In October, a man was charged with impaired driving after he drove into a building in the Blackfriars neighbourhood.
Most memorable for Londoners was the crash in the Old East Village that caused an explosion destroying a part of a residential neighbourhood.
Police have not said if charges will be laid in Wednesday's crash.
