Waterloo Region District School Board chair Scott Piatkowski among re-elected trustees

Scott Piatkowski, Kathleen Woodcock and Marie Snyder have been elected to represent Waterloo-Wilmot on the Waterloo Region District School Board.

There will be several new faces on the Waterloo Region District School Board after Monday's municipal election.

Of the 11 trustees that made up the board, four did not seek re-election this fall. A total of 39 people were running. 

Waterloo

The three candidates elected to represent Waterloo-Wilmot were:

  • Incumbent Scott Piatkowski.
  • Incumbent Kathleen Woodcock.
  • Marie Snyder.

The results are unofficial until they're verified by the city and township clerks.

Kitchener

In Kitchener, the candidates who won the four trustee seats were:

  • Incumbent Joanne Weston. 
  • Incumbent Mike Ramsay.
  • Meena Waseem. 
  • Maedith Radlein. 

Cambridge-North Dumfries

The three trustee seats will go to:

  • Incumbent Cindy Watson. 
  • Bill Cody.
  • Carla Johnson.

Woolwich-Wellesley

In Woolwich-Wellesley, Fred Meissner was elected.
