The chilly weather didn't keep people from gathering at Victoria Park Monday to celebrate Victoria Day.
Concert part of weekend put together by Victoria Park Neighbourhood Association

The chilly weather didn't keep people from bringing their lawn chairs to Victoria Park Monday to enjoy the Kitchener Musical Society Band perform.
At noon, a small crowd gathered to hear them play on one of the park's islands.

The hour-long concert was the tail end of a weekend of activities put together by the Victoria Park Neighbourhood Association and the Victoria Park Historical Committee.

The Victoria Park Historical Committee held a brief ceremony at the Queen Victoria statue to honour the park's namesake.

People also had the chance to check out new displays at the Victoria Park Gallery.
