- Disclosure of private communication.
Police say charges were laid Feb. 12, but wouldn't say when the offences are alleged to have happened.
"Any investigations that we conduct into our members are conducted with the same level of care and detail that we would use in an investigation involving a member of the public," OPP spokesperson Derek Rogers said.
The officer has been suspended with pay, Rogers said.
He is scheduled to appear in a Guelph courtroom on March 20.
