Man stabbed in Waterloo hospitalized with life-threatening injuries

Waterloo regional police are investigating a stabbing in Waterloo. Police said a man has been taken to an out of region hospital with life-threatening injuries.

 A man has been transported to a hospital outside the region with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Waterloo.

Officers with the Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to the area of 1 Columbia St. W. at approximately 10:40 p.m. Wednesday for reports of a disturbance.

There police located a man with multiple stabs wounds. 

Police said the suspect and the victim are known to each other.

Police continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
