CBC Kitchener-Waterloo's Sounds of the Season campaign to raise food and funds for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region has topped $9,000 thanks to the generosity of listeners and readers.

As well, 660 lbs of food has been collected this year.

In 2017, the campaign raised a total of $10,328 and 258 lbs of food.

You can drop off non-perishable food at the CBC K-W studio at 117 King St. W., until Dec. 31, although the office is closed on the weekends and will be closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

We can't accept cash at the office, but you can click here to donate online as part of the campaign until the end of month.
