A video of a Waterloo, Ont., man surprising his mother with her dream car, a 1973 Saab 99, has exploded online, picking up almost three million views on YouTube.

Corey Wadden, 25, told CBC News he's been flooded with requests to make appearances on U.S. television shows since he uploaded the video on Monday.

"It's unbelievable," said Wadden. "I'm of a generation now where we're used to seeing this stuff, but you just don't really get it when it happens to you just how fast it happens. It's just unbelievable, I don't even know how else to describe it."

The particular make and model holds special significance for Wadden's mother Joanie. When she used to clean houses, one of her clients used to let her drive a Saab, and she fell in love with it.

"Every time she would see an older Saab, she would just lose it," said Wadden.
