Radios, PPE stolen from Kitchener fire hall

Two P25 radios and personal protective equipment were stolen from the Kitchener Fire Department Tuesday evening, Waterloo regional police say.

Alleged theft happened Tuesday evening between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Two P25 radios and personal protective equipment were stolen from the Kitchener Fire Department Tuesday evening, regional police say.

Someone entered the fire hall on Lancaster Street between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday and stole the equipment, according to police.

Officers were called to the scene a few hours later, around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say the suspect is still unknown. Anyone with information is urged to contact police or CrimeStoppers.
