Kitchener City Hall will be home to some bright lights and plenty of buzz this week.

That's because filming for NBC Universal's TV series, Heroes Reborn, is taking place there over the next few days.

According to a release from the city, up to 100 production staff will be on site from now until Sunday, October 4. Filming will take place between 8:00 a.m and 10:00 p.m. daily, and the city is warning visitors to City Hall they may have to wait a few minutes to enter or leave the building, depending on the filming schedule.

Heroes Reborn is a mini-series that continues the story of the original TV series, Heroes, which starred Hayden Panettiere, Jack Coleman and Milo Ventimiglia and ended in February 2010.

On-street parking around City Hall will be limited, but underground parking will still be available.

A full list of road closures and downtown parking changes is available here.
