Man charged with impaired driving at 7 a.m. after officers find 18 grams of meth in car: Guelph police

A Guelph man has been charged with impaired driving and possession after a police investigation Monday morning.

Officers were alerted by members of the public about a suspicious vehicle entering a gated compound at 7:07 a.m. Monday.

When they arrived, officers arrested the male for impaired driving and searched him.

They found more than 18 grams of "what is believed to be crystal meth," valued at $1,800, a police press release says. 

The 21-year-old Guelph man has been charged with impaired driving, being a novice driver with a BAC above zero, failing to surrender his license, and possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.
