A 24-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with assault after police say a cab driver was attacked by a customer.

Officers were in the area of Fairway Road S., on Sunday around 2:20 p.m. when they found a man with serious injuries lying on the ground behind a taxi cab. The injured man was taken to hospital.
