Halloween car wash theft nets thieves $800, suspects remain at large

Police are asking for help finding three suspects in a car-wash theft that happened early in the morning on Oct. 31.

Police are asking for help finding three suspects in a car-wash theft that happened early in the morning on Oct. 31.

Police say three people went to a car wash in the Town of Erin around 3:30 a.m. and forced their way into a room inside the car wash. Once inside, they opened the vault and stole about $800, police said.

An alarm was tripped and police were called, but the suspects got away.

The suspects were driving a black Volkswagen Jetta.

Wellington County OPP released two photos of the suspects on Thursday.
