Guelph Police arrested a Guelph woman twice over the weekend, once in connection to a stabbing that happened in late November and a second time for breaching bail conditions.

The 23-year-old woman was initially arrested Saturday.

Police say she is facing several charges in connection to a stabbing that happened Nov. 25, including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. A 29-year-old woman was sent to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The Guelph woman was in custody and was released on bail with several conditions, police said.

However, police saw her at an apartment building in downtown Guelph Sunday evening that she was "prohibited from attending" and arrested her a second time.

Police say she was held in custody for a bail hearing taking place on Dec.2.
