2 vehicles escape police in 24 hours in Guelph

In the past 24 hours, two vehicles have taken off after officers tried to stop them in Guelph.

In the past 24 hours, two vehicles have taken off after officers tried to stop them in Guelph.

On Oct. 7, officers tried to stop a motorcycle near Edinburgh Road and Water Street. The vehicle sped away and officers did not chase it.

A day later, officers tried to stop a Blue Hyundai Elantra near Silvercreek Parkway N. and Greengate Drive. The vehicle took off at "a high rate of speed," according to police. Officers discontinued their pursuit.

Now, officers are asking the public for tips on the vehicles.
