Charges laid in crash that sheared pole in half, sent car into house

A 21-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving after a serious crash that happened in June.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving after a serious crash that happened in June.

On Sunday, June 9, a vehicle drove off the road, "shearing a hydro pole in half," then flipping and hitting a house. 

It happened on Victoria Road North near Eramosa Road in Guelph.

No one was injured in the crash, but on Thursday, police announced charges had been laid against the driver. 

Police said speed was a factor.
