An early morning fire in Guelph has destroyed six transport trucks, causing approximately $500,000 in damage.

Fire crews and police were called to an address on Speedvale Avenue between Lewis Road and Royal Road at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A transport truck without a trailer was fully engulfed, then the fire spread quickly to adjacent trucks.

The Guelph Fire Department contained and extinguished the fire.

Police said there doesn't appear to be anything suspicious about the fire, although the cause remains unknown.

No one was injured.
