Group of parents join elementary teachers picketing near MPP's office
Parents said they are taking time off work, working together to coordinate child care

A group of parents joined elementary school teachers picketing near the office of MPP Amy Fee Thursday afternoon.
"To be perfectly honest, were frustrated with the government and how they're approaching these negotiations," Rachel McQuail parent and King Edward Public School council member said.
Natasha Singh was on the street handing out warm tea to parents, teachers and children.
Her three children are in elementary school and spent the day at home with their father.
"I do support the province, but I also support the teachers," she said.
Rebecca Mitchell children were with her at the picket. She took the afternoon off work to show her support for teachers, she said.
"I've scheduled vacation time for as long as it takes, It's a fight worth fighting," said Mitchell.
MPP Amy Fee did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
