A 57-year-old Kitchener woman has been arrested after police investigated a bomb threat at Grand River Hospital Monday evening.

Officers were called to the hospital at 6:30 p.m. after a person in the emergency department claimed to have a bomb.

The officers arrested a woman. There was no explosive device and no one was injured, police said.

The 57-year-old woman faces charges of uttering threats and attempted robbery.
