Man dead after vehicle and train collide in Innerkip: Oxford County OPP

Oxford County OPP say one man is dead and another has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, after a train and a vehicle collided in Innerkip Sunday afternoon.

One man is dead and another has been seriously injured after a collision involving a vehicle and a train in Innerkip.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, Oxford County OPP said in a tweet just before 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The passenger of the vehicle has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

George Street is closed between Blandford Street and Township Road 6, and police are asking drivers to use an alternate route.
