Kids and their families had a chance to search for hundreds of Easter eggs hidden in Bingemans FunworX Saturday morning.

Over 750 Easter eggs were hidden between arcade machines and the facilities large play structure, according to Andrea Conyers, the amusement operations manager for Bingemans FunworX.

Eggs contained chocolate, candy and "treasures" like small toys, figurines or rings.

Kids also received a card which allowed them to have a few rounds on the arcade machines.

Conyers said they saw more families come out to the annual Easter egg hunt, with a 25 per cent increase over last year's numbers. She estimated about 100 people turned out for this year's event.

She said one of the main reasons parents signed up for the Easter egg hunt was because it was a family-oriented event.

"We try to put together all these different packages that encompass the whole family, not just the child, not just the adult," she said.

For Conyers, even though it can be hectic, her favourite part of Saturday's Easter egg hunt is "watching the kids' expressions, seeing their faces — just watching the families have fun together."
