A 28-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed at a Cambridge townhouse complex just before midnight on Sunday.

Police say victim is in critical but stable condition

A 28-year-old man is in hospital in critical but stable condition after being stabbed at a Cambridge townhouse complex, police say.

Officers were called to the complex on Glamis Road late Sunday night for a report of an assault.

They found the man with a stab wound and he was transported to hospital.

Another adult man was arrested at the scene.

"This is believed to be a targeted incident and there is no risk to public safety," police said.
