Waterloo MP Bardish Chagger is no longer the federal minister of small business and tourism.

She remains leader of the government in the House of Commons, which will see her "continue to co-ordinate the Government's day-to-day business in the House and manage its legislative agenda," a release from the Prime Minister's Office.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shuffled his cabinet on Wednesday morning.

Chagger's former portfolio has now been split.

Mary Ng will become minister of small business and export promotion.

Mélanie Joly becomes minister of tourism, official languages and La Francophonie.
