2 males found with stab wounds in Kitchener

Waterloo region police are investigating the area of Weber Street E., Madison Avenue and Cameron Street after after two males were found with stab wounds Tuesday morning.

Police said males sustained serious injuries, one is in stable condition

Officers with the Waterloo Regional Police Service are investigating after two males were found with stab wounds early Tuesday morning.

Police said officers responded to an altercation in area of Weber Street E. at approximately 3:45 a.m. 

Const. Ashley Dietrich said the males were known to each other; however, she was not able to provide the male's ages or if police are looking for a suspect.

"The circumstances surrounding the injuries is part of the ongoing investigation," she said. 

Both males were seriously injured, Dietrich said, adding one is in stable condition.

Police closed a section of Weber Street E. near Madison Avenue N. and Cameron Street N. for the investigation.

Dietrich said officers will remain on scene for the remainder of the day canvassing the area.
