Young man in hospital after altercation in Brocklehurst

An attack over the weekend has left a 19-year-old man from Savona in hospital in Kamloops. Jessie Simpson was beaten with a baseball bat after a homeowner noticed Simpson standing on his driveway. A 39-year-old man has now been charged with attempted murder. 

A friend of the family, Christina Forde, started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover any expenses the familyincurs. We spoke to Forde about how the family is coping and what kind of teenager Jessie is.
