Train whistle ends in McLure

After a 10 year fight, the people of McLure have heard the last train blow its whistle while passing through.

McLure can say goodbye to hearing the train whistle blow.

 After a 10 year long fight against bureaucracy, the people of McLure are finally enjoying a good night's rest.

Trains passing through the community are no longer required to blow their whistles.

The last whistle rang out earlier this week.
