Just a few doors down from CBC on Victoria street, a new shop has opened up.

It's called "The Office of Surrealist Investigations."

The front door looks like something out of a private detective movie.

It reads: "The Office of Surrealist Investigations."

Surrealism is an artistic movement that started in the 1920s, it's about expressing the subconscious mind through art or writing (think Salvador Dali.)

The office in Kamloops is the idea of local artist Craig Wilms.
