Kamloops zamboni driver excited for Hockey Day in Canada

Hockey, bacon, maple syrup. All these things evoke feelings of national pride for Canadians. But there's one thing missing from this list - the zamboni driver. We visited the ice with a zamboni driver.

Kamloops is getting ready for some big hockey events to come to town and that takes preparation.

For hockey lovers, there are some huge events coming to Kamloops.

Both Hockey Day in Canada and the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championship are coming to the tournament capital. 

But what does it take to prepare the ice for events like these?

Daybreak's Tara Copeland hit the ice with Vikki Matheson. 

She works for the City of Kamloops, but she's also a zamboni driver.
