A trailblazing couple from Victoria has just come through Kamloops.

They're trying to be the first people to haul a camping trailer across the country - towing it using an electric vehicle.

Daybreak's Doug Herbert caught up with them at the charging station by the travel information centre.

And as you'll hear, their vehicle drew some curious onlookers.
