McMaster psych grad student wins 3-minute thesis People's Choice
Have 180 seconds to learn something about how to find the beat?
You should make the time, because McMaster student Kate Einarson is onto something.
Einarson was the People's Choice winner for the 3 Minute Thesis online competition that challenges students to explain their thesis projects to non-academics in a limited amount of time.
Nine McMaster graduate students were finalists in the April 11 competition and CBC Hamilton posted a video a day, challenging our users to learn something new in three minutes or less.
Einarson is a graduate student in the faculty of science. She explains her thesis, Find the beat in music: The role of culture, cognitive abilities and motor skills, in three minutes.
