A Glanbrook man is facing stunt driving charges after allegedly doubling the speed limit in Binbrook early Wednesday.

Police say an officer was checking for speeders on Regional Road 56 near Cemetery Road just after 1:30 a.m., when a grey SUV was clocked going 131 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

The officer pulled the man over, according to a news release.

A 39-year-old Glanbrook man was charged with stunt driving. His driver's licence was suspended for a week, and his SUV was impounded, police say.
