Police lay no charges after pedestrian struck at King and James
Injuries to 17-year-old pedestrian were serious but non-life-threatening, police say
Hamilton police will not lay any charges against the driver of a vehicle who struck a pedestrian on Thursday.
The 17-year-old pedestrian, previously described as in his 20s, was crossing James Street without the right of way when he was struck by a vehicle going south, police said Friday.
He suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital. His injuries have been determined to be non-life-threatening, police say.
