Senior dies in hospital after being struck by vehicle in Paris
Police says the 74-year-old woman was hit early Tuesday morning
A 74-year-old woman has died in hospital after being struck by a car in Paris, Ont. on Tuesday.
Police say she was crossing Silver Street at Oak Street at around 5:45 a.m. when a car hit her. The woman was rushed to hospital before succumbing to her injuries.
The driver is a 31-year-old man from the area of Brant County, investigators say. Police say he is cooperating with the investigation, and no charges have been laid.
Ontario Provincial Police's technical traffic collision investigators continue to investigate the collision along with the Brant County detachment.
