Hamilton police looking for two suspects after donut shop robbed

Hamilton police are looking for two suspects after an Upper Ottawa Street Tim Horton’s was robbed at gunpoint.

Police allege that at around 3 a.m. on February 4, two men — one of them armed — entered the donut shop.

While one suspect stood by the door as lookout, the suspect carrying the gun pointed the weapon at a male cashier and demanded that he open the register, police say. The suspect then demanded that a female employee at the drive-thru window open her cash register, allege police.

Police say that the alleged thieves ran away after collecting the store's cash.

Neither of the Tim’s employees was hurt.

Police are looking for a man described as around 20-years-old with brown skin, brown hair and medium build wearing a white hat and a red scarf over his face. The second suspect is described as a white man around 20-years-old with a medium build wearing a dark top with white pants, and a bandana covering his face.
